The dogs were found to be suffering from a variety of health problems resulting from neglect. These illnesses included tumors, skin and eye infections, and parasites from drinking stagnant rainwater. As many as 18 puppies were held together in small rabbit hutches, standing on top of almost two feet of feces (see slideshow). Dog skulls were also found at the facility.
